Webukit ("we", "us") provides business-management software for salons, barbershops and similar businesses ("Businesses"). The Webukit iOS app lets a Business owner or team member sign in to manage their appointments, retail sales and memberships. This policy explains what the app collects and how it is used.

Who this app is for

The app is a tool for Businesses to manage their own operations. It is not a consumer app and is not directed to children. Accounts are created and provisioned by Webukit for the Business; the app does not offer public self-service sign-up.

Information the app handles

• Account & sign-in: the email address you sign in with. Authentication is handled by Amazon Cognito. Session tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device.
• Business data you manage: your services, staff, products, bookings, sales, memberships and the contact details (name, email, phone) of your Business's own clients that you enter or that arrive through your booking channels. This is your Business's data; you are the controller of it and Webukit processes it on your behalf to provide the service.
• On-device settings: app preferences (such as calendar view and notification preference) are stored on your device using standard iOS storage.

How information is used

• To authenticate you and show your Business's calendar, clients, shop and memberships.
• To send you local notifications on your device when new bookings arrive. The app does not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.

What we do not do

• We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
• We do not sell personal data.
• We do not use the data for advertising.

Where data is stored

Business data is stored on Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure in the United Kingdom (eu-west-2) operated by Webukit. Transport is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS.

Data retention & account deletion

Business data is retained for as long as the Business's account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time from within the app (More → Account & data → Delete account), or by emailing support@webukit.com. On deletion, the sign-in account is removed and the Business's data is deleted or de-identified.
